National Chavez Center

Established in 2004 by the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation, the National Chavez Center at Nuestra Señora Reina de La Paz is the official, living memorial dedicated to the advancement of the legacy of Cesar Chavez.

Downtown Murals

The Murals Committee, now a part of Main Street Tehachapi, has worked together since 1999 to raise funds and plan a series of historical murals to showcase the rich history of the Tehachapi Valley. The murals beautify the downtown area, showcase the history of the area, and serve as a historical guide for visitors to Tehachapi. More murals will be produced as funds allow.

BeeKay Theatre

110 South Green St, Tehachapi, CA

Built in 1932, the Beekay Theatre was once the old movie house in downtown Tehachapi. Through a joint partnership with the City of Tehachapi, the movie house has been restored and the venue of the Tehachapi Community Theatre and other entertainment programs. Check their website for a schedule.

Bethany Guest House & Gift Shop of the Norbertine Sisters

Religious retreat house offering the charism of prayer and hospitality of the Norbertine Sisters.  Founded in 1997, the Bethlehem Priory of St. Joseph is a Roman Catholic religious community of cloistered nuns whose lives are dedicated to God through the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
